De Kempische Mik Bread Fund

In mei 2019 is Bart betrokken geweest bij het opzetten van Broodfonds De Kempische Mik, een groep van 51 ondernemers uit de Kempen, en heeft hij de rol van penningmeester voor een aantal jaren op zich genomen.
Elke 3 maanden komt deze vereniging samen en brengen we tweemaal per jaar een bezoek aan het bedrijf van één van de aangesloten ondernemers.
Op die manier houden we contact in de vereniging en krijgen we een goed beeld van de passie van onze leden en dat geeft vertrouwen. Uiteindelijk steun je met een Broodfonds elkaar en zijn we financieel solidair in het geval van ziekte bij één van de aangesloten ondernemers. Dus hoe mooi is het om elkaars bedrijven te bezoeken en waar mogelijk elkaar te ondersteunen.

Full house

This time, around 30 members of the Broodfonds De Kempische Mik visited Brabant Deur and Louwers Deurtechnieken at Lage zijde 1 B&C in Eindhoven. The turnout was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The coffee machine broke down after the first cup, but fortunately our employee and rock of Gibraltar Farida Lemouchi was immediately on hand to make coffee in the pot. After enjoying a luxurious sandwich with coffee and tea, Gert and Bart gave a detailed account of what they have been working on all these years and how they got to where they are today. Our industrial door consultant Ron Koppelmans also gave a brief explanation of the importance of properly maintaining and inspecting industrial doors. Afterwards, we gave the group a tour of our premises.

Successful evening

In our completely renovated showroom, we took a closer look at the different types of garage doors and the many possibilities they offer today. Just before we started the networking drinks, Rob Kimpen from HKB introduced himself. Rob guides our companies and his coaching is very valuable to us as a growing organisation. Right up until the last moment, everyone was interested in the detailed pitch about what he and Niels Koks can do for us as entrepreneurs. We chatted some more over snacks and drinks. What a lovely group of people the Kempische Mik are. My partner Gert Louwers and I are therefore delighted that, after all these years, we are still affiliated with Broodfonds De Kempische Mik. Our thanks go to Gerie van Leeuwen and Ron van der Ploeg for their attention and their unwavering support for the Bread Fund. Willem Beenen for his presence and commitment.
